Power Engineer Injured By Russian Land Mine In Kherson Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the village of Arkhanhelske, Kherson region, a power engineer was injured by a Russian land mine while performing his duties.

Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

'In the village of Arkhanhelske of the Visokopillia territorial community... while performing his duties at one of the enterprises, a 26-year-old man stepped on a Russian land mine on the side of the road,' he said.

According to the regional governor, the victim with a blast injury was taken to the hospital. His right foot was torn off. Currently, doctors are providing the necessary assistance to the patient.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 8, a local resident walked over a Russian land mine in the Velyka Oleksandrivka community of Kherson region. He was taken to the hospital.
