Housing Minister Affirms Keenness To Cooperate With National Assembly

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- State Minister for National Assembly Affairs and State Minister for housing Affairs and Urban Development Ammar Al-Ajmi affirmed on Wednesday the government's keenness to cooperate with the National Assembly to solve the housing issue.
This came in the National Assembly's supplementary session, during the discussion of the Housing Affairs Committee's report on establishing companies to construct residential cities and economically developing them on state-owned lands.
Al-Ajmi added that relevant proposals are 'a joint effort between the government and the Parliament's Housing Affairs Committee which came after continuous meetings lasting three weeks, with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare participation.'
He reaffirmed the importance of cooperation between the government and the National Assembly to solve the problem, and to 'fight the real estate price increase a it concerns most citizens.' (pickup previous)
