Iran’s shipments from cooperative field hit USD800m in first six month

(MENAFN) Commodities with a value of nearly USD800 million were shipped by Iran’s cooperative industry throughout the initial six months of the ongoing Iranian year (March 21- September 21), deputy minister of cooperatives, labor, and social welfare, Mehdi Maskani, stated on Tuesday.

As IRNA mentioned in reports, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, and Russia were the top five shipment destinations for the commodities created by Iranian cooperatives in the opening six month of 1401, as said by Maskani.

Cooperatives operating in agriculture, food industry, handicrafts, handwoven carpets, minerals, as well as mineral industries had the largest part in the shipments throughout the stated time span.

Maskani stated that the following Khuzestan, Fars, Khorasan Razavi, Alborz, and Golestan are the highest active districts in terms of shipments by the cooperative industry in the stated six months.

He considered the attempts made by the officials and employees as the top priority aspect in the improvement of the cooperative industry shipment and stressed that “The existence of diverse cooperative unions throughout the country creates a suitable platform for completing the export chain.”
