Iran revives more than 700 idle industrial units in first 7 months


(MENAFN) As declared by Iran Small sectors and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), 766 idle industrial units have been regained in the nation throughout the initial seven months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22).

The stated units coming back to the manufacture sector added employment opportunities for 15,041 citizens.

As earlier declared by ISIPO Chief Ali Rasoulian, 2,067 idle industrial units were recovered in the nation’s industrial parks and zones throughout the prior Iranian calendar year 1400 (closed on the 20th of March).

In line with the official, with the regain of the stated units employment opportunities were established for more than 39,000 people.

“ISIPO had put it on the agenda to revive 2,000 stagnant units inside and outside industrial parks and zones in the previous year and by the end of the year 2,067 idle units returned to the production cycle, which provided employment for more than 39,000 people,” Rasoulian noted.
