Iran records peak oil, petchem shipment since 2017

(MENAFN) Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji stated that the nation has hit the peak record of oil, gas condensate, as well as petrochemical shipment in 5 years (2017) (when the U.S. began re-forcing sanctions on Iran’s oil industry) in the eighth Iranian calendar month of Aban (October 23-November 21), as reported by Shana.

The minister made the announcement at a meeting of oil industry workers on Tuesday.

“Iran's oil industry is now at the forefront of the economic war and the toughest sanctions have been imposed on this industry,” he stated, mentioning that the sector has increased in spite of the stated burdens.

Iran has been surging its oil output and shipment during the last year as the nation has been forcing additional plans to deal with U.S. restrictions.

The Islamic Republic’s oil incomes jumped by eight times in the opening five months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22) with respect to the same time span of the prior year, as said by official statistics.

Line with Tasnim news agency reports, Iran’s oil incomes also jumped by 11 times in the prior year.
