Iran: Chiefs of govt. branches accept resolution to left restrictions on imports from Eurasia
(MENAFN) The chiefs of the three branches of the Iranian administration have accepted a resolution to left the limitations on imports from the associates of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The declaration around the stated resolution was established in a business gathering among the private industries of Iran and Russia on the 26th of October, the portal of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) mentioned in a report on Saturday.
Held by TCCIMA, the stated Iran-Russia business meeting was joined by private sector officials as well as administrators from both countries, such as Chief of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peyman-Pak, on top of Russian Trade official in Iran Rustam Zhiganshin.
While giving a speech in this meeting, Peyman-Pak highlighted that the creation of a free trade deal among Iran and EAEU is going to guarantee a bright future for exchange in this area, asserting that “The list of commodity items that are going to be included in the free trade agreement has been almost determined and it has been decided that 90 percent of the tariffs [on these commodities] will be reduced to zero.”
