Turkey’s share markets end Tuesday with increases


(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Tuesday with earns to end at 3,458.03 points.

Opening the session at 3,435.59 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index jumped 1.94 percent, or 65.90 points, from the prior end.

The index's worst value throughout the session stood at 3,400.39, whereas its day to day peak rahced 3,480.91.

The overall market value of the BIST 100 was nearly 2.8 trillion Turkish liras (USD144.1 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange volume of 77.9 billion Turkish liras (USD4.2 billion).

International benchmark Brent crude sold at USD89.44 a barrel at 10.24 AM regional time (0724 GMT) for a 0.65 percent earn from the ending price of USD88.86 per barrel in the earlier exchange session.

American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI), selling at USD84.05 a barrel at the same time, surged 0.50 percent after the prior session ended at USD83.63 per barrel.
