UAE University celebrates World Teachers' Day

(MENAFN- Iris Media Press Services) The United Arab Emirates University students celebrated the World Teacher’s Day, held annually on October 5. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences conducted a series of events and activities in the building of the College of Information Technology, with the participation of students from various colleges and academic disciplines, and several faculty members at the university.
The United Arab Emirates University administration marks Teachers’ Day annually in appreciation of the efforts of the faculty members at the university, and the role of the teacher in general. They always play a significant role in delivering noble human message to prepare and educate children and keep pace with the rapid development. The teachers have great responsibility for continuing education and learning especially considering the world challenges and crises in the Corona pandemic.
World Teachers' Day is a global event established by the United Nations to honor and appreciate the teachers for their influential efforts in inspiring the minds of the future generation, and their great role in development of learners, which is reflected positively on the learners, their families and communities, and the whole world.
The students introduced the role of teachers and felt grateful for their role and efforts. The students also extended their sincere appreciation to the teachers who are the candles that lit the path of life for them and explored prospects, armed with the latest educational outcomes.
