Qatar’s deputy FM, Amir Abdollahian meet to discuss growing relations


(MENAFN) A Qatari Foreign Ministry meeting led by the nation’s Deputy Foreign Minister for local Affairs Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz al-Khalifi gathered on Saturday afternoon with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

They had discussions around two-sided relations and concerns of joint interest in addition to ways to grow ties among Tehran and Doha in all sectors, the Iranian Foreign Ministry website mentioned in a report.

Throughout the gathering, Amir Abdollahian highlighted the need to implement deals inked by Iran and Qatar throughout Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi’s trip to Doha as well as also throughout the Qatari emir’s trip to Tehran.

The Qatari deputy foreign minister extended compliments from the foreign minister of his nation to Amir Abdollahian.

Al-Khalifi also stated that Qatar is determined to grow ties with Iran.
