Public Prosecution Participates In Meeting Of GCC Assistants Of Attorneys-General
Doha: The Public Prosecution participated in the 13th meeting of Their Excellencies Assistants of the Attorneys-General and Prosecutors of GCC, which was held yesterday, via video conferencing.
The Public Prosecution delegation to the meeting was headed by First Attorney-General and Director of the Judicial Inspection Department at the Public Prosecution Ibrahim Abdullah Al Qubaisi.
The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the work of the Public Prosecutions and Public Prosecution in the GCC states. The most important of which are the organisation of the organs of the Public Prosecution in the GCC states, the draft rules for child protection during the investigation stage, the draft rules for the immediate payment of proceeds of crimes of a financial nature and financial penalties, and the draft guideline to procedural controls of cybercrime.
The meeting came in preparation for the 14th meeting of Their Excellencies GCC Assistants of the Attorneys-General and Prosecutors, which is scheduled to be held in October.
