
Shboul Highlights Jordanian-Egyptian Media Cooperation In Interview
AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Faisal Shboul on Saturday commended the Jordanian-Egyptian media cooperation.
During an interview with Jamal El Keshki, editor-in-chief of Al Ahram Al Arabi magazine, Shboul, who is also the government spokesperson, said that the agreements between Jordanian-Egyptian media institutions are subject to periodic reviews to be updated in accordance with developments to serve the interests of both countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also highlighted that what distinguishes the Jordanian public and private media platforms is their firm position in support of the national interests and the Kingdom's stances over the national and regional issues, foremost of which the Palestinian cause.
He also highlighted the efforts of the Council of Arab Information Ministers to address the challenges facing the Arab media, notably the impact of social media platforms, and non-professional content, among others.
