(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, Russia committed 28,991 crimes of aggression and war crimes and 13,493 crimes against national security in Ukraine as of August 18.
The Prosecutor General's Office provided such data.
According to the Office, as of August 18, 2022, 28,991 crimes of aggression and war crimes were registered in Ukraine, of which 27,881 were violations of the laws and customs of war, 73 – planning, preparing or initiating and waging the war of aggression, 28 – propaganda of war, 1,009 – other crimes.
Also, the prosecutor's office registered 13,493 crimes against national security, of which 9,308 – related to encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, 1,597 – high treason, 1,920 – collaborative activities, 135 – aiding and abetting the aggressor state, 64 – sabotage, 469 – other crimes.
As reported, the number of children injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's invasion increased to 714 as of the morning of August 18.
