The Taliban Condemns The BJP Spokesperson's Disparaging Remarks About The Prophet Of Islam

Taliban officials have strongly condemned insulting remarks to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) made by a member of India's ruling party and called on the Indian government to not to“allow such fanatics to insult the holy religion of Islam and provoke the feelings of Muslims”.
“We urge the Indian government not to allow such fanatics to insult the holy religion of Islam and provoke the feelings of Muslims.” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted, today, Monday, June 6.
In a televised conversation, Nupur Sharma, the spokeswoman for the Bharatiya Janata Party of India, questioned why the Holy Prophet (PBUH) married Hazrat Aisha (RA), who was less than ten years old.
BJP's spokeswoman's words sparked outrage and displeasure among Muslims in India, as well as a strong reaction from a great number of Islamic countries.
In a statement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) denounced the Indian officials' remarks, saying they would exacerbate hostility, hatred and ill-treatment of Islam and Muslims in India.
Following the remarks and widespread calls on social media for a boycott of Indian goods in Gulf Arab states, the Kuwaiti government summoned the Indian ambassador to the Gulf states. Pakistan and Iran have also expressed their dissatisfaction with the Indian official's words.
Several other Islamic countries summoned India's ambassadors who officially apologized to the world's people, particularly Muslims.
As public outrage mounted over two members of India's ruling party insulting the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), the party released a statement firing one of the two members and suspending the membership of the other pending further investigation.
