Azerbaijani Students To Present Project In Sphere Of Robotics Within TEKNOFEST

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. Azerbaijani students will present a project in the sphere of robotics within the framework of TEKNOFEST International Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, the Captain of 'TRobotAZ' team (participating in the festival) Tural Suleymanli told Trend .

'We sent our project to TEKNOFEST festival, and it was accepted. We had to create a new robot prototype with the supplied parts at the next stage. We started developing a robot prototype from the necessary durable materials with the financial and moral support of MUSIAD Azerbaijan,' Suleymanli said.

Members of the 'TRobotAZ' team, created with the support of MUSIAD Azerbaijan, which includes representatives of the youth MUSIAD Azerbaijan, are students of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and study in specialty Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, he noted.

One of team members Sayad Ahadli noted that the scout robot, made of aluminum, can take stones or any other objects on the planet to which it can be sent. At the same time, robot can measure humidity, pressure, temperature via telemetry.

Team member David Aliyev said robot is equipped with two cameras that are targeted to send images from another planet to Earth.

Team consultant Javid Alkhazov noted that if any system of the robot is damaged or disabled, another system will allow it to successfully complete its work.

TEKNOFEST International Aviation, Space and Technology Festival will be held in Azerbaijan from May 26 through May 29.

TEKNOFEST in Baku is held by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the TEKNOFEST production office operates in Baku. The full staff of the office consists of Azerbaijani specialists.

The event has been held annually since 2018, with the joint organization of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, which is managed by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology and the technical director of Baykar Makina, in partnership with more than 60 Turkish state institutions, universities and private companies.

The goal is to popularize such areas as aviation, space industry and digital economy, to encourage entrepreneurship in these areas, to identify the knowledge and skills of young engineers through competitions organized within the framework of the festival, as well as to present national technologies to the general public.
