EU, UK, Asian stock close bit higher


(MENAFN) Giant European indices closed at advances yesterday. The STOXX Europe 600, with almost 90 percent of the stock capitalization of the European stock in 17 nations involved, gained 5.3 points, or 1.22 percent, to end at 438.97 points.

The FTSE 100 index of the UK rose 53.551 points, or 0.72 percent, to 7,518 points. DAX 30 of Germany increased 1.59 percent, or 221.56 points, to 14,185, however, CAC 40 of France only surged 1.3 percent, or 82.42 points, to 6,430. FTSE MIB of Italy got 268.6 points, or 1.12 percent, to close at 24,301 and IBEX 35 of Spain ended at 8,475 points, increasing 122 points, or 1.46 percent.

Turkey’s benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul ended with increases 0.17 percent to 2,394.83 points on yesterday. In addition to, giant Asian stock exchanges has also shown surges.
