More than 1,000 people evacuated from Luhansk region today


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) More than 1,000 people have been evacuated from Luhansk region today, March 31.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

'In total, more than 1,000 people have been evacuated from Luhansk region today,' he wrote. According to him, the largest number of people have left Lysychansk - more than 700.

He reminded that 207 people from Severodonetsk and 20 residents of Rubizhne are now traveling by train to the west of Ukraine. A total of 85 people have left Kreminna, 76 - Hirska community, 28 - Popasna.

As Ukrinform reported, three evacuation trains are to depart from Luhansk and Donetsk regions (from Novozolotarivka and Kramatorsk) on March 31.
