Turkey’s consumer confidence soars in Jan.


(MENAFN) Based on Turkey’s statistical authority statement on Friday, Turkish consumer confidence increased in January.

According to TurkStat statement, the consumer confidence index dropped to 73.2 in January, jumping by 6.2 percent from 68.9 in the last month of 2021.

The index is a significant measure of the economy’s general performance, demonstrating individual’s sentiments on financial standing as well as the overall economic state, along with expenses and saving tendencies.

All sub-indices worsened during the mentioned month with the financial state prediction over the upcoming 12 months deteriorating the most.
