Saudi Ports Authority inks agreement to solve commercial maritime disagreements


(MENAFN) The Saudi Ports Authority, also referred to as Mawani, has inked an initial deal with the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration to create an agenda to solve commercial disagreements in the maritime field.

Based on the Saudi Ports Authority statement on Sunday, in accordance with the deal, both units are going to concentrate on forming the suitable atmosphere for the effective settlement of disagreements, particularly those linked to import and export trade in the maritime field.

According to the Saudi Ports Authority statement, “the MoU plays an essential role in achieving the authority's objectives of developing maritime transport and import/export operations, enhancing the capabilities of member ports, and contributing to the national economy.”
