CPF announces launch of Jordan Athletic Therapy Association

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Wednesday announced the launch of the Jordan Athletic Therapy Association (JATA), a joint venture between the CPF's Qusai initiative and the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC).

During a press conference held on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Qusai, which was launched in 2014 by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, CEO of CPF Tamam Mango expressed pride in JATA,“the fruit of seven years of labour”, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Qusai's on-field physiotherapists have saved the lives of 12 athletes over the past years, Mango said, highlighting the CPF's plan to maintain the workflow over the next two years in partnership with the JOC.

Committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all athletes, the Crown Prince launched the Qusai initiative to put in place a strategy to improve practices in sports therapy. He initiated these efforts in memory of footballer Qusai Al Khawaldeh, who lost his life due to an unfortunate medical incident on the playing field, according to the CPF website.
