Al Rayyan International University College hosts student counsellor event


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The State of Qatar's knowledge-based economy has taken another step forward after sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Al Faisal Holding and Chairman of Al Rayyan International Education, announced the launch of Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) in partnership with University of Derby. 

Al Rayyan International University College in partnership with University of Derby hosted their first student counsellor event in City Centre Rotana. 

During the event, information about the university, its vision, mission, international and local accreditation and the structure and the content of the academic programmes was shared with student counsellors from more than 40 different schools in Qatar. 

The purpose of the event was the enhancement of the collaboration between the university and various schools within Qatar.

The mission of its programmes is to prepare students for their future management functions in local and international settings. 

ARIU works closely with local and international business organisations, which enable university graduates to be well-placed for their future careers and to be consistently sought after by the industry. 

All academic programmes are fully based on University of Derby's curriculum, and licensed by the University of Derby, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar, and by reputable international accreditation agencies. 

Upon successful graduation from the academic programmes, students are awarded with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from the University of Derby in the UK. A degree from the University of Derby opens doors to an exciting future with varied career prospects and options.

Al Rayyan International University College is offering the following programmes from the University of Derby: BSc (Hons) in International Business Management, BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management and BA (Hons) in International Tourism Management.

Starting from January 2022 in addition to the undergraduate programmes, ARIU will also offer postgraduate courses in MSc in Tourism Management and MBA Global in Hospitality Management with more programmes to be added in the future.
