I am a Research Consultant for the CSIRO and a Postdoctorate Researcher at the Centre for Biodiversity and Conservation Science (School of Earth and Environmental Sciences) at the University of Queensland, Australia, where I completed my PhD. I have a Masters degree in Applied Marine Science from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University. My research looks at different approaches for improving the sustainability of seafood and reducing fishing impacts on threatened species.
