Doha: Lusail University has signed an agreement with the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne to offer a Bachelor of Law programme in French, starting from the 2021-22 academic year.
This programme is the first of its kind to be offered in French in the State of Qatar. It aims to provide an outstanding university education for students from French schools who wish to study law, and to prepare legal experts who can work in law firms, judicial system, and jobs in international organisations.
The programme is offered by the highly reputable Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, which is the most prestigious French university and one of the oldest European universities in the field of humanities and social sciences. A group of distinguished professors from the Sorbonne University will teach the courses through virtual learning applications. This is in addition to the professors of Lusail University who will support students during virtual education and while taking exams inside the University.
The graduates from this programme obtain a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, which is a national diploma accredited by France and recognised in all Europe according to Bologna Project, and is also accredited in Qatar.
