IEI Qatar Chapter conducts webinar on ' Blockchain and Future'
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Institution of Engineers (India) Qatar Chapter recently conducted technical webinar session on“Blockchain and Future”, wherein around 170 members attended. Dr Pratapsinh Desai, president, Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, was the chief guest and Ahmed Jassim al-Jolo, former chairman of the Qatari Society of Engineers was the guest of honour.
Dr Anish Mohamed, co-founder and CTO, Panther Protocol, was the keynote speaker. He is a medical doctor having completed his research work as technologist with multidisciplinary background with two decades in security and cryptography.
He explained the blockchain technology and its generations, privacy, half-life of data and permissions, homomorphic encryptions, zero knowledge proofs, trusted platform modules and post quantum cryptography.
