Jordan- Irbid man arrested for setting off loud fireworks

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Irbid, Mar. 26 (Petra) -- Police on Friday announced that they arrested a man who used the rooftop of the condominium where he lives in Irbid to set off large fireworks causing explosion-like booms in the vicinity.
A source told Petra on Friday that the northern governorate's police had received multiple reports of explosion-like booms over the course of ten days in the Northern Neighborhood area.
Acting on the reports, police officers scanned the area and had a suspect who confessed that he was the one who launched the fireworks.
The source said investigations with the man were still ongoing and he will be referred to the judiciary for further action.
