3 Held For Running Fake Job Racket

Srinagar: Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a fake job racket by arresting three people from north Kashmir's Bandipora district.

Irfan Ahmad Wani, Manzoor Ahmad Pandit, both residents of Saderkoot Bala and Bilal Ahmad Dar of Asham were arrested by police on the basis of specific information that they were misguiding youths and duping them on the pretext of providing jobs in various government departments, a police spokesperson said Thursday.

He said that original sets of testimonials and some admit cards of candidates, whom the group was trying to dupe, have been recovered.

'Further investigation of the case is going on,' the police spokesperson said, adding that an FIR No. 23/2021 U/S 120B, 420 IPC already stands registered in police station Sumbal.
