Greece's economy in 2020 hit by coronavirus pandemic
(MENAFN) On Friday, Mar. 5 provisional official data revealed that Greek economy contracted 8.2 percent annually last year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Figures by ELSTAT, the national statistical service of the country showed that the Aegean country's gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 168.5 billion euro (USD192.1 billion), a decrease from about USD218 billion in the previous year.
