Jordan receives 2019 annual report of Integrity, Anti-Corruption Commission


(MENAFN)At weeks open, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh received a copy of the 2019 yearly report of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC).

The prime minister underlined the government's commitment to combating corruption and preserving public funds in an assembly with the IACC's Chairman Muhannad Hijazi, from transgressions as well as increasing the worth of transparency and integrity in line with royal directives in the Letter of Designation and the Speech from the Throne.

The government is also completely committed to cooperating with the Commission in reinforcing and increasing the national integrity system and promoting good governance in the administrative apparatus and the private sector, stated Khasawneh, calling it "an inherent value in our Jordanian society." The premier also cautioned that character assassination is a type of corruption.
