Qatar- Ministry of Justice launches 'Absher' service


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has launched the Absher service for the public, in which a vehicle is used as a mobile office where a legal notary is present along with various office and technical facilities to conduct transactions and take the signatures of citizens wherever they are, without the need for them to visit the ministry or its branches.

Government and private entities and institutions can also benefit from the service , Qatar News Agency (QNA) reports. The new service marks a qualitative leap in the MoJ's efforts to bring transactions closer to the public and facilitate access to all segments of society, especially the elderly and people with special needs .

The vehicle has both male and female employees and is fully equipped to provide various real estate registration and documentation services, including transactions that are conducted electronically. The service also takes into account the privacy of customers, and is offered to the public for a set fee.
