White paper stated on Wednesday that China is going after a nuclear plan of self-defense; it aims to keep countrywide strategic security and safety by preventing other countries from using or threatening to use nuclear weapons against China.
The white paper which is titled "China's National Defense in the New Era," was released by the state Council Information Office and it stated that China is always pledged of not using nuclear weapons first at any time and whatever the circumstances, it also said that China will not threaten to use nuclear weapons against countries with no nuclear weapons or nuclear-weapon-free zones.
The white paper has also said that China supports the entire ban and complete demolition of nuclear weapons, the country does not participate in any nuclear arms competition with any other country and maintains its nuclear abilities at the minimum level required for national security.
