Stanislaw Szwed, Poland's deputy labor minister, said the Philippines and Poland were in the process of forming an agreement on the issue, The Filipino Times reported.
Szwed said Poland needed workers for manufacturing, agriculture and information technology. Other workers who are in demand are masons, carpenters, concrete mixers, plasterers, machine operators and engineers for Poland's infrastructure projects.Poland expects to be short 4 million workers by 2030 because of the continued emigration of its own workforce and a low birth rate.
