RTA signs MoU with Ambulance Services

(MENAFN) As part of RTA's strategy to step up cooperation with all Dubai Government departments and share information and knowledge in relevant fields, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services allowing the issuance of approvals for ambulance vehicles operated by private health entities online, Gulf News reported.

Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, CEO of Licensing Agency; and Khalifa Al Darai, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, signed the MoU in RTA Head Office in the presence of several directors and officials from both entities.

"The signing of the MoU stems from the commitment of the RTA to engage in fruitful cooperation with Dubai Government departments in the interest of clients of all parties and the community as a whole. The MoU entitles the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services access to the SDDI for issuing online approvals to ambulance vehicles operated by private health entities," explained Al Ali.

"The online system will save the time and effort of private health entities seeking NOCs. It facilitates the procedures of availing licensing services online without obliging clients to visit service centers to submit documents," added Al Ali.
