Sudanese Pres. touts developed ties with Kuwait

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KHARTOUM, March 2 (KUNA) -- Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir Friday hailed the "great" development of relations between Sudan and the State of Kuwait.

Al-Bashir made the remark during a meeting with visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs and labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh.

Speaking to KUNA following the meeting with the Sudanese president, the Kuwaiti minister quoted Al-Bashir as speaking highly of greatly developed relations between Sudan and Kuwait and sending greetings to His Highness the Amir sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The encounter was attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan Bassam Al-Qabandi and several other Sudanese officials.

The Kuwaiti minister arrived in Khartoum on Tuesday on an official visit to this Arab country, which is scheduled to conclude later today. (end)
