Air France to stop flights to Istanbul

French Air France will be stopping its flights from Paris to Istanbul, Turkish media reported on December 4.

Reportedly the flights will be stopped starting on March 25, 2018. The reason for the suspension of flights was not revealed.

Meanwhile, Joon Airlines (French airline, a subsidiary of France's flag carrier, Air France) will be carrying out flights en route Paris-Istanbul.

Air France announced the establishment of a new airline, called JOON, which will begin flights from December 2017. According to plans, by 2020 the fleet of the new carrier will consist of 28 aircraft: 18 aircrafts of tAirbus A320 / A321 family and ten Airbus A340 / A350 aircraft.
