How 'hazardous' is Bigg Boss for the Indian audience?
25 Nov 2017

From body-shaming to hurling the grossest abuses at each other for no rhyme or reason, the contenders at Bigg Boss stoop to a new low everyday.

Sadly, the show glorifies everything from which the often-enraged Indian viewers need to stay away.

So if you watch Bigg Boss quite ardently, we bring to you reasons why it can really affect your peace-of-mind.

Slut-shaming is normal in the house
Slut-shaming

Not once but many times, Priyank Sharma of Splitsvilla fame has slut-shamed fellow contestant, Arshi Khan. Inspite of repeated warnings by Salman Khan, Priyank did not budge.

But the more disturbing fact is when Arshi was being slut-shamed by Priyank, he had the full support of Hina Khan.

A woman supporting a man who is slut-shaming another woman! Can it get worse than that?

Women are criticized blatantly for their body weights
Body-shaming

If you thought slut-shaming was all that the housemates do, you are wrong. They indulge in body-shaming too.

In a recent episode, Priyank was heard criticising Shilpa Shinde and Arshi Khan for their weights.

Not even once did he cringe while saying such obnoxious things for women. He probably forgot that there are millions watching him on TV, getting influenced by his nasty acts.

A house full of unchained wild-boars
Indecent

Time and again, one gets to witness complete insanity in the show, where a person howls and abuses at the top of his voice for no clear reason.

Just yesterday, Akash Dadlani turned the whole Bigg Boss house into an asylum because he was not made the captain.

Halfway through the show and you start wondering, why did you even sign-up for such nonsense!

Too much fakery is promoted
Fake

There is no relationship or friendship in the house, that has passed the test of time.

It is weird to see even the closest friends in the house turning against each other to win a mere task.

Everybody is there for the game, agreed. But the way relationships are mocked at in the house, your mind will be scarred forever.

Displaying the dirty linen without consent
Personal attacks

Another disturbing thing in the house is incessant personal attacks.

The housemates dig up each others' past and discuss even the most sensitive details on national television, without caring an ounce about the other person's image.

With so much dirt around, do you think to spend an hour on that show every day is worth it? Think again!
