(MENAFN- Arab Times) An unidentified company in Ahmadi has filed a lawsuit against a Pakistani man accusing him of fraud and 'stealing' more than half a million dinars, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to the complaint filed by the lawyer, the Pakistani claimed and made the officials of the company believe that he has contacts overseas and can purchase copper products at 'reasonable' price.
After the company entrusted him with KD 566,000 to make the necessary purchases, he reportedly escaped with the money and has since switched off his cell phone.
