Kuwait China Co. earns more than KD 2 million


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait China Investment Company earned KD 4.2 million in net profit in the first nine months of the current year, the company said in a statement on Sunday. Dividend per share amounted to 5.4 fils, the statement said. The company incurred KD 11 million worth of losses in the same period of last year, at a rate of 114 fils per stock. Shareholders' equity amounted to KD 82.6 million, the same record in the end of September 2012, compared with KD 76.4 million of the same period of 2011. Total assets reached KD 92.2 million, liabilities KD 6.3 million, in contrast to KD 8.4 million of the same period in 2011. The KCIC was formally set up on December 12, 2005 by an Amiri Decree as a Kuwaiti shareholding company with a total capital of KD 80 million (USD 280 million).
