Pakistan: four terrorists, child die in clashes


(MENAFN) An official declared that over four terrorists and a child have died as another eight were wounded in clashes between security forces and terrorists in Pakistan's southwest province of Balochistan.

A spokesperson from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) confirmed that the battle erupted after security forces raided a compound in Tera Meel area of Dasht in Mastung, a district near the provincial capital of Quetta.

The terrorists ambushed security forces with automatic weapons and hand bombs.

A child, aged four, has died as his mother was wounded when a hand grenade thrown by the terrorists hit a nearby house.
