(MENAFN) A suspect has been detained over the murder case of a woman discovered in a river.
Police responded to reports of fears over the welfare of a woman, aged 50, in the River Anton in Andover.
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed that she was rushed to hospital in Winchester, where she died shortly after.
The death was considered suspicious, as a man, aged 39, has been detained, according to the force.
