(MENAFN) Austrian midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic was declared to be leaving his club, Werder Bremen, once the season ends.
The news has been announced in an official statement both sides issued through the official website of the German club.
He added "but, I can understand his decision too. He is now at an age where he may have the chance to try something new or different. I wish him the best for the future."
He added "the decision has already been made but there are still some details to be discussed so that I cannot give any further information for the moment."
Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt commented on the decision "we have repeatedly emphasised how important Zlatko is with his quality for the team. Therefore I would have liked to see him playing another season with us."
The footballer stated "it wasn't an easy decision for me. Bremen was my first transfer abroad. They gave me the chance to prove myself in one of the best leagues in the world."
