- Professor Bashar Awad (Jordan) in the field of Islamic Studies.
- Professor Chokri Mabkhout (Tunisia) in the field of Arabic Language and Literature.
- Professor James P. Allison (United States of America) in the field of Medicine.
- Professor Sir John M. Ball (Britain) in the field of Science.
