Qatar to launch USD6bn roads, infrastructure projects


(MENAFN) Qatari Public Works Authority (Ashghal) was reportedly announced to be launching USD6 billion roads and infrastructure initiatives in 2018.

The Gulf Times has reported Ashghal to have declared the decision during a seminar that was held to brief construction industry professionals and contractors.

The seminar was also reported to have had the presence of Ashghal assistant president Abdullah Hamad Al Attiyah along with several senior officials.

The projects are also to reportedly include plans for carrying out sewage treatment plants as well as assets projects.
