GOP declare concerns about Trump creating an uproar during tax push

(MENAFN) While they carry out a significant end of the year push for their legislative agenda, Republicans on Capitol Hill are unease about the possibility of President Trump ruining the move.

GOP is facing a slight margin for error as an effort is in place to pass tax reform and settle on an agreement about government expenses, the president's stance is a matter of concern as well.

A Republican strategist with connection to the White House said "while he will push for tax reform, Trump is never going to change and could end up distracting everyone over unrelated matters that feed the base."

The strategist stated his point of view Monday afternoon, less than an hour later Trump did indeed create a commotion when he insulted Sen. Elizabeth Warren by calling her "Pocahontas" during a White House ceremony meant to honor Navajo Code Talkers.
