Boeing's 747 sold
(MENAFN) After several attempts to sell two Boeing 747 freighters offline, they were finally bought on Taobao by SF Airlines for about 48m USD.
On Monday, three Boeing 747 planes went up for auction, but one of the auctions failed, as only one buyer registered an offer.
Initially, the freight planes belonged to Jade Cargo International, the first Chinese cargo carrier with foreign investment, but it closed in 2013.
VP of Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court said: "Online auctions are a good way to handle the property of bankrupt firms."
