Rocket engine exploded during testing


(MENAFN) A rocket-engine blew up during a test of its next-generation model at the test facility of the American aerospace company SpaceX in Texas.

The company stated: "No one was injured and all safety protocols were followed during the time of this incident."

It added: the company is currently "conducting a thorough and fully transparent investigation of the root cause."

A representative of SpaceX said only Block 5 engine testing will be put off at the facility.
