Woman got 417m USD over baby powder

(MENAFN) An American judge gave 417m USD award to a woman who claimed she got ovarian cancer by using Johnson & Johnson baby powder for feminine hygiene.

The Court Judge agreed to give the company another trial, as they said there were mistakes and jury misconduct in the former trial back in August.

Her lawyer said: "We will continue to fight on behalf of all women who have been impacted by this dangerous product."

Echeverria claimed J&J haven't sufficiently warned consumers about the potential cancer caused by talcum powder.
