Iran vows to enhance transport, energy relations with Russia


(MENAFN) The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and Russian Trade and Economic Development Council (RTEDC) revealed that they have approved a deal in order to increase joint co-op amid them in rail, oil and gas, and renewable energies.

As per the deal, both sides are set to allocate USD2.5-billion financing for co-manufacturing of 1,000 freight, passenger and subway wagons amid a 3-5 year period.

Never the less, the Central Bank of Iran Governor posted in August that 3 European countries including Austria, Denmark and Italy are estimated to launch 22 billion euro credit lines for financing programs in Iran.
