Pakistan- NAB dismisses embezzlement complaint against Aisha Gullalai

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, September 14: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday dismissed complaint against Aisha Gullalai. Member National Assembly from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Gullai was accused of receiving kickbacks and misappropriating uplift funds.
The complaint was dismissed on grounds that it was incomplete, lacking evidence to approve inquiry against member National Assembly Aisha Gullalai.
It merits a mention here that Gullalai had accused PTI Chairman Imran Khan of harassing her and sending her 'indecent' text messages.
PTI leader Salim Nawaz, after the allegation against Khan, had filed an application accusing her of misappropriating development funds worth millions.
The same accusation were levelled by her assistant Noor Zaman and filed another application at NAB against her alleging her of kickbacks in development projects.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, following the accusation, had constituted a parliamentary committee to investigate harassment allegations and asked Gullalai and Khan to hand over their mobile phones for forensic.
