(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Petroleum (QP) hosted a farewell reception yesterday in honour of Nabeel Mohammed Al Buenain, who was recently appointed as the CEO of Qatari Diar Real Estate Company.
The reception was attended by Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, President & CEO of QP, as well as by the company's executive vice presidents (EVPs), vice presidents (VPs), corporate managers and other senior officials.
During the event, Al Kaabi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Al Buenain for his over 27 years of dedicated service with QP, the last of which was as the Vice President of the HSE & Business Services Directorate.
Al Buenain first joined QP in 1990 as a student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering in the US.
After graduation, he started his career as an engineer and took up a variety of professional and leadership roles over the years, thus enabling him to gain extensive experience in oil & gas operations and major infrastructure development.
Al Kaabi wished Al Buenain all the best in his new appointment and expressed confidence that he would do very well at the helm of Qatari Diar, as he had done during his long and successful career with QP.
