Barrels of liquor found in the Asian's flat

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Two Asian expatriates who violated the residency and traffi c laws were arrested for running a liquor factory in Abu Halifa area. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Ahmadi area when they noticed a man walking in the area. As they approached him to check his civil ID, the suspect ran, prompting securitymen to chase him. When they noticed him enter a fl at, they obtained a warrant and raided the fl at to discover it is a liquor factory. They arrested two Asian expatriates who confessed to manufacturing and selling liquor.

The suspects were referred with barrels of liquor obtained from the fl at to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was arrested on Coast Road in possession of six bottles of locally manufactured liquor. He was referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action
