No French involved in attack against Total oil field in Libya
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) French officials said on Wednesday that according to the latest information, no French nationals were involved or affected by the assault on the Mabrouk oil field in Libya earlier.
The Mabrouk field is operated by French oil giant, Total, but is not thought to have had any French personnel on the site.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said in a briefing that Paris had no knowledge of French involvement.
"Given the current state of our information, no French (nationals) were present on the site," Nadal said.
